Committed to providing compassionate end-of-life care, Solterra Hospice is a dedicated team with a wealth of experience, including a medical director who is dedicated to excellent care for every individual we have the honor of caring for.
With roots dating back almost a century, we are proud to expand our services to the Willamette Valley community. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of compassion and caring to all that we serve, including patients, families, caregivers, and our staff, who put their whole hearts into delivering the highest level of care.
At Solterra Hospice, we believe hospice care should be personal, compassionate, and never rushed. While many hospice agencies ask nurses to manage 20–28 patients, we intentionally limit caseloads to 14 or fewer. This allows every visit to be unhurried, every symptom to be addressed promptly, and every family to receive the time, attention, and support they deserve.
To further enhance the care we provide, each nurse who reaches a caseload of 14 is partnered with a dedicated Hospice Care Aide (HCA). This team-based approach ensures patients receive timely personal care while allowing nurses to focus on skilled clinical care, symptom management, and meaningful time with patients and families.
Our interdisciplinary team—including chaplains, social workers, massage therapists, and dedicated HCAs—provides an added layer of comfort, caring for each person's physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
